Details (please read carefully):

Eid salah led by Ustadh Ahmed Hammuda

Date: Tuesday 9th April or Wednesday 10th April 2024*

*Subject to moonsighting. In case of a split Eid – Big Eid Salah will take place in line with global moongsighting. We will confirm the day of Eid on Monday 8th April.

Time: 9:00 am (Eid Salah) – please arrive in good time. Please arrive from 8:30 am.

Venue: Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, Nevil Rd, Bishopston, Bristol BS7 9EJ

Stewards will be on-site to direct you to the prayer area once you have parked up.

  • Families Event, children welcome. Open to Brothers and Sisters.
  • Registration is required for car parking, please click Car Parking Ticket Pass. Parking needs to be vehicles with a minimum of 4 people, please car share. We have limited car parking spaces. Without registration and 4 people in your car, we cannot guarantee you car parking on the event date.
  • We encourage young people to park nearby (see details below ) so the car parking spaces are available for individuals of our community who need it the most.
  • Please consider travelling by public transport, cycling or walking as we have car parking capacity constraints.
  • Bring your prayer mat with you. Please bring a foldable chair with you if needed.
  • Indoor space available. In the case of bad weather, the Eid prayer will go ahead at the same venue – this will be communicated on social media and emailed to you as soon as this has been confirmed.
  • Bring a sweet cake or nibble to share amongst your own families.
