1) General Safety Tips

While it is impossible to predict the effects of the attacks on the community here in the UK, as a precaution we have put online a general safety tips guide. This guide is much too long to list here. It is aimed at Muslim women but is advice applicable to all.

Some of the advice is overkill but is still a good general guide overall on safety.

Please click below for document entitled “General Safety Tips” to read online.

2) Logging Islamophobic Incidents Locally

If you have been or become a victim of any form
of Islamophobia or verbal or physical abuse it is very important
to log it to build up a record of statistics. It is important to record
it locally with SARI or other organisations and if serious also with
the Police.

Please click “Tackling Islamophobia Bristol” leaflet
about Bristol Initiative to tackle Islamophobia plus advice on
how to report it locally.

For those with visual impairment please click
“Islamophobia Leaflet Text” for a text only version that can
be read by Text to speech software. One clicked it will download to your computer.

Or right click either link above to Save to your computer.
